Step 1: Choose a charging dispenser
Each Alpitronic Hypercharger has two DC fast charging dispensers. Park your vehicle in the charging bay closest to your selected dispenser.
Step 2: Connect the charging cable
Open your vehicle’s charging port per your vehicle manufacturer’s handbook. Attach any adapters needed as approved by your vehicle manufacturer.
Remove the dispenser from the charger unit and connect the cable to your vehicle’s charging port. Once the dispenser is inserted firmly, the charger will make a connection with your vehicle. This may take between 5-10 seconds.
Step 3: Select your payment method and start charge
Open your bp pulse app and enter the charger ID. This can be found on a label on the charger. Select which connector you will use. Click “Begin Charge” in the app.
Track your charge session progress in the bp pulse app even while you step away from the charging station.
On the payment terminal screen located to the bottom right of the main display, select the charging station you are using then select which charging plug you will use. Pricing will be displayed for 10 seconds, then you will be asked to tap your credit card on the card reader.
The charger unit screen will display ‘charge session initiating’. Once initiated, the charging session details will display on screen.
Step 4: Stop your charging session
Press “Stop” in the bp pulse app, or press the button for your charge session, and once your session details display on screen, press the stop button.
Your vehicle may also have a stop charge button – please consult your owner's manual.
Unplug the charger from your vehicle and return the charging cable to the charger holster. Please return the station as you found it. Thank you for supporting our EV community!
Pro tip:
Your charging cable may not unlock if the car is locked.
