Each FreeWire Boost Charger has two charging ports or dispensers. On the charger unit screen, select which dispenser you will use for your charging session.
Open your vehicle’s charging port per your vehicle manufacturer’s handbook. Attach any adapters needed as approved by your vehicle manufacturer. The charger screen will invite you to connect the charging cable to your vehicle.
Once the dispenser is inserted firmly, the charger will make a connection with your vehicle. This may take between 5-10 seconds.
Insert, swipe, or tap your credit card on the card reader directly below the screen. Charger unit screen will display charge session initiating. Once initiated, the charging session details will display on screen.
Press “Stop” in the bp pulse app or select "Stop charging" on the charger unit screen.
Unplug the charger from your vehicle by pressing the release button on the connector handle. Return the charging cable to the charging station holster. Please return the station as you found it. Thank you for supporting our EV community!
The charging session will not fully complete until the charging cable is returned to the holster.
Your charging cable may not unlock if the car is locked.
