Why are these changes happening to the bp pulse network?
We want to provide a great charging experience for EV drivers, while creating opportunities for growth and improvement across our network. This includes regularly reviewing the equipment offered at our sites to ensure the speed and quality we want customers to experience.
Which hardware will be installed at upgraded bp pulse sites?
bp pulse works with several vetted and preferred charging hardware suppliers, offering a range of high-speed equipment to support nearly every make and model of EV on the market today.
Why are some sites having their equipment upgraded while others will have chargers removed?
Our team of experts have evaluated each site to determine the best course of action to ensure we are providing EV drivers with the best experience. This process will involve removing chargers with low utilization so we can focus on upgrading sites that are better servicing our customer base.
When will these changes be going in to effect?
We have already begun the process of switching off selected chargers on our network. To stay up to date with the latest chargers and sites available, please always check the bp pulse map or app before traveling.
