  • Integrated solution pairs bp pulse’s charge management software with Geotab’s telematics data, providing fleet customers with a comprehensive and interoperable platform

[January 18, 2024] – bp pulse, a global leader in charging infrastructure for fleets and public charging, today announced a collaboration with Geotab Inc. (”Geotab”), a global leader in connected transportation solutions, that will give fleet operators access to integrated EV charging and energy management.‍ Available via the Geotab Marketplace, bp pulse’s intelligent charge management software, Omega, will integrate with Geotab’s telematics data, enabling fleets to optimize charging operations for lower-cost energy, vehicle availability and other factors, providing insight into all charging operations from a user-friendly dashboard. Telematics is a method of monitoring cars, trucks, equipment and other assets by using GPS technology and on-board diagnostics to optimize movement and vehicle operations.

In electric vehicle (EV) charging, data insights are critical to ensuring operations are efficient and optimized. Omega’s fleet optimization capabilities, combined with comprehensive fleet telematics data available via the Geotab platform, gives fleet operators a complete view of fleet performance from the health of the chargers—to the location of the vehicles.

Our relationship with bp pulse is a fantastic example of how we are working with industry leaders to deliver valuable sustainability and electrification solutions to our customers so that we can help them meet their sustainability business objectives and achieve meaningful outcomes. Bringing bp pulse’s Omega software to the Geotab Marketplace will allow our joint customers access to intelligent charge management software options within their existing telematics platform.

bp pulse is now part of the Geotab Sustainability Alliance, which is a collection of solution and service providers dedicated to creating cutting-edge solutions to help fleets operate efficiently and reduce their carbon footprint.

For fleet operators, bp pulse offers comprehensive EV charging and energy management for all types of vehicles, including trucks, buses, vans and light duty. This includes tailored charge management solutions, from charging depot design to ongoing charger maintenance. bp pulse brings a cost-optimized and service-focused approach to charge management for fleets of all types and sizes, providing a simplified electrification process for users.

bp pulse has always been dedicated to simplifying the electrification process for fleets of all types and our integration with Geotab is one step further into being able to deliver turnkey solutions for fleet operators. Geotab and bp pulse have mutual clients, which will now give them the benefit of streamlining data, and allow our Omega customers to be fully integrated with their Geotab telematics, providing a turnkey software solution for clients looking to simplify their fleet electrification efforts.
